Yosemite National Park

Living near the southern (Hwy 41), entrance of Yosemite since 1983, I have seen all the park's seasons.
My favorite time is late October and November, when the summer crowds are gone,
the air is cleaner, crisp and the fall colors appear in all their glory.
If you do not mind driving in the snow to get there,
visiting the valley during the winter months can be very peaceful and serene.
but it can also bring destructive storms and flooding without much if any warning.
Spring brings roaring waterfall, beautiful fresh green trees, grass and colorful wildflowers.
Late spring and summer brings the crows, but it also allows access to the high country,
for those who still want to enjoy a measure of solitude.

Entering Yosemite fron the east and driving through the park on Hwy 120.
